Dr. Moses Noh (PI), MEM assistant professor, has received a new NIH grant entitled, “A Microfluidic-platform Mini-Liver System for Human Liver Biology Studies.” This project will build on the progress in his current NSF CAREER project that is focused on developing microfluidic human liver model. Along with Dr. Michael Bouchard (Biochemistry, PI, DUCOM), the team will develop a miniature human liver bioreactor to study viral infection and alcohol effects on the liver. The total project amount is $408,816.
