With the College-wide competition set to commence on June 3rd, one Mechanical Engineering Senior Design team has already caught the media’s attention and has been featured in the Philadelphia Tribune.

MEM students Sam Acacia, Rich Castle, Matt Fryczynski, Steve Seelman, Jason Vala, and Brian Yagel in partnership with Gregory Gamble, president and CEO of Mold and Design Plastics LLC, have brought the idea of a “universal detector”- a detection device that recognizes smoke, gas and carbon- to fruition.
