Dr. Oh presented his work spanning the past six years on Drexel's efforts on aerial robotics at the SAE Aerospace Control and Guidance Systems Committee meeting held on Oct. 10th-12th, 2007 in Cocoa Beach, Florida. The focus was on designing aircraft that can navigate in near-Earth environments by flying through forests, in and around buildings and down caves and tunnels. Topics included collision avoidance sensor suites, hovering fixed-wing aircraft and our recent efforts on UAV safety and pilot training.
