The MEM department's very own Dr. Wei Sun was prominently featured in the May 9, 2005 issue of The Scientist.

In an article titled "Machining the Body," Dr. Sun and MEM PhD candidate Saif Khalil, are highlighted for the design of rapid prototyping machines that print cells, scaffold materials, and growth factors simultaneously.
