3/24/06- Binil Starly, a current Ph.D. student in Mechanical Engineering, has just accepted a tenure-track faculty position in the Industrial Engineering Department at the University of Oklahoma.  Binil worked under the guidance of Prof. Wei Sun on the topic of computer-aided tissue engineering.  Aside from his work on cutting edge research, Binil served as an effective teaching assistant in our CAD/CAM courses, and as a caring mentor to many K-12 teachers through our Research Experiences for Teachers  (RET)  program. 

Congratulations to Binil for this wonderful achievement and we wish him a successful career in academia.  Congratulations to Dr. Sun for his valuable guidance and mentorship of his graduate students.
