The Mechanical Engineering Department hosted The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Essential Teaching Seminar for Engineering Faculty from Thursday, September 21 through Saturday September 23.

With 37 participants attending, the seminar consisted of an intensive three-day workshop of thought provoking presentations, discussion, and practice of the art of teaching. Participants included faculty and graduate students from Drexel and other institutions such as Penn State, Michigan, Ohio State, Catholic University, Louisiana Tech and more. The seminar was led by Dr. Jerry Samples of the University of Pittsburgh, Johnstown and Dr. Robert Potter of Roger Williams University.
