Assistant or Associate Professor
The Department of Mechanical Engineering & Mechanics (MEM), Drexel University, Philadelphia, seeks candidates for full-time tenure-track faculty positions. We are interested in candidates who have a strong background in fundamental disciplines related to mechanical engineering. Special consideration will be given to applicants with interests in all aspects of energy systems, safety critical control systems, and design. We seek to fill two positions, one at the rank of an Assistant Professor and the other at the rank of an Associate Professor. We seek candidates who can enhance the Department’s research capabilities and profile.
Applicants should have an earned Ph.D. in mechanical engineering or a related field. We are seeking candidates who are committed to research, scholarly activities and curriculum development at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, and who will provide inspiration and leadership in research and contribute proactively to the diversity of the academic community. Review of applications will begin on December 1st and the search will remain open until the positions are filled.
