FAQ
The initial planning stage for the BS/MS program takes time, but the long-term benefits are worth the effort.
Please:
- Create a Plan of Study.
- Complete the application.
- Meet with Dr. Jablokow to have the undergraduate portion of your plan of study approved.
- Schedule an appointment with the graduate advisor; if planning for an M.S. in MEM, contact:
- Have your plan of study and application reviewed by Dr. Fontecchio in the Undergraduate Advising Center (UCross 155). Please drop your application off at the office.
- Meet with your co-op coordinator to insure a spring/summer co-op cycle to help maximize graduate course offerings.
- Meet with the billing office to discuss changes to your 4th year plan (i.e. dropping a co-op, adding a term of classes, etc.).
- Take your completed application with all signatures and approved plan of study to the Office of Graduate Studies, (Randell 240). It is suggested you keep a copy for your records.
Curriculum
Use the template from the year you started as a base. The College of Engineering electives drop off as well as the Free Electives for all students in the BS/MS program in MEM. All remaining courses students in the BS/MS program are still responsible for.

NOTE: Please substitue Math/Sci courses for the MEM/Sci/Tech blocks listed on this template. This template is presently inaccurate regarding this requirement. Any 300+ level Math, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering Chemistry, or Environmental Engineering and Science course will fulfill these requirements.
